That's his war mongering presidential record. Not his sketchy guard service record. All I know about Kerry is that he was in Vietnam for a short tour and came home and told people how horrible it was and how terrible our soldiers were.

actually...he did two tours of duty. 2 years. for republicans who received referrals and escaped for a murky history with the National Guard....it equals.... "short tour". Spin, spin, spinning on the Partisan Politicking

Either way all I was saying is that Kerry has been running on his Military service alone and that's cool. Bush's guard service has been torn apart for years.
One should look into what these guys did in the recent years as president/governor or senator.
I'm not going to sit here and blindly defend Bush's guard record when I honestly don't know what he or Kerry did back then and I don't really care what he or Kerry were doing during vietnam either.
But Kerry is running on that so I guess I'm supposed to care. So should I care when he cries about people attack that record?

Hey Header argue this.
(stolen from keyser)
1 - Bush is against campaign finance reform ("George W.
Bush opposes McCain-Feingold...as an infringement on free
expression." [Washington Post, 3/28/2000]);
then he's for it
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...20327.html).
2 - Bush is against a Homeland Security Department
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...-7.html#12);
then he's for it
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...606-8.html).
3 - Bush is against a 9/11 commission
(
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/05/1...9096.shtml);
then he's for it
(
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/DailyN...20920.html).
4 - Bush is against an Iraq WMD investigation
(
http://www.jsonline.com/news/gen/jan04/203405.asp);
then he's for it
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...206-3.html).
5 - Bush is against nation building
(
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2000/debates...21003.html);
then he's for it
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...306-8.html.).
6 - Bush is for free trade
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...23-13.html);
then he's for tariffs on steel
(
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn...Found=true);
then he's against them again.
7 - Bush is for states right to decide on gay marriage
(
http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0002/15/lkl.00.html),
then he is for changing the constitution.
8 - Bush-"I want justice. And there's an old poster out
West, I recall, that says, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive.'"
(
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/DailyN...10917.html).
Bush- "I don't know where he is.You know, I just don't spend
that much time on him... I truly am not that concerned about
him."
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...313-8.html)
9 - Bush first says the U.S. won't negotiate with North
Korea
(
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/...115-8.html).
Now he will

I'm not arguing his record or Kerry's record. See post above yours.
Essentially I think he's done a swell job as president. That's my opinion. No use trying to sway me.
If you don't agree well then you have a decision to make.
