Nah, I'm just sick and tired of people who won't accept the goddamn reality that sometimes, you need to pay for things.

"I won't pay for radio!!!" - For god's sake, it's the cost of two DVD rentals. I don't mind paying that to be a little more sane on my drives from work.

Didn't we already cover this in another thread? I love how people refuse to acknowledge all the money you have to shell out first for all the equipment. If I got that for free then maybe, MAYBE I might consider joining, but I'm not spending hundreds for a fucking radio on top of the monthly fee.

As opposed to paying 100 bucks for a cable modem?

Or Direct TV?

Or a DVD player?

Like I said, I'm sure whichever system carries them, they are going to have massive deals on equipment if you pay for a subscription upfront, or some sort of marketing deal.

They are willing to take the loss to get more people involved in the product. See: ESPN NFL 2K5.

Don't recall ever paying for that. If I did, I know damn well it wasn't that much.

Wouldn't buy that unless my cable company decided to start charging for all my high def channels.

Got a nice one and it even came with a spiffy radio. Guess what, this and the cable modem combined probably cost less than $100.

Honestly, this bickering won't amount to much until we find out where they are going and what kind of deals they're going to cut on equipment.

http://www.xmradio.com/roady2/ <- 129.99, and that's a pretty decent starter package.

Don't forget the home receivers as well since you know damn well anyone who is going to get this will be buying that as well. Who the hell is gonna spend 4 hours in their cars?

That said, hundreds upon hundreds of dollars.
