Did anyone catch the new reality show last night called Paradise Island?

For those of you that missed it, here's the scenario:

A group of guys and girls are flown to an tropical resort called Paradise. The place looks ultra shee shee. The guys and girls have one week to "hook up" with a member of the opposite sex. There are 6 rooms and 13 people. You have to find a roommate of the opposite sex to bunk with. Basically, you gotta get laid in a week or you're sent back home. here's the catch.....

When you're sent back, a member of the studio audience in LA is flown out to replace you.

I was amazed at how fuckin desperate they got to find a roomie. What would possess anyone to publicly show that you're sleeping with a total stranger day one and possibly 5 others?

Kirstin - 24, hairstylist arizona

Amy - 21, Pro Cheerleader

Amanda - 22, Resort Concierge (she arranges for the hookers to be sent to your room)

funny you should say that. her opening monologue was about "not taking crap" from any of the guys and if they want to fight with her, she's all for it.

The funniest line last night was from her. All the guys and girls hooked up chatting by the pool. She was all over a couple of the guys and then she was by herself smoking a cigarette. She looked around at everyone hookin up and having a good time and really looked worried. She said "what the hell just happened here? looks like I'm the one going home early"

Actually, this week there was more girls than guys. One gal will get booted off, and a guy will come into replace her, then the week after it will be reversed again.

Basically, this show is legalized prostitution. These people are <s>forced</s> encouraged to fuck just to stay on the island in some starnge "reality" soap opera.
