Here, FTL, let me see if I can pick up the slack for poor Ronin:

FU, Father Time, for continously taking away all that is good in the world of entertainment.

FU for going after the Katherine Hepburns, Buddy Hacketts, Buddy Ebsens, and Barry Whites of the world... even as the Carson Dalys, Backstreet Boys, and anyone who has ever starred on any so-called reality show that involved marriage continue to hawk their 15 minutes of fame like a crack whore covets their last vial of addictive bliss before they have to go suck another AIDS-infested schlong to get more.

FU for robbing us of Albert Einstein, Mohammed Ali and Richard Pryor, people whose sheer genius or razor-sharp wit was apparent in every word they spoke , and leaving us with the muddled fumbling gibberish that spews forth from the Mike Tysons and Joe Millionaires.

FU, Death. Why do you go after those who create a legacy worth remembering, instead of those we wished could already be erased from our minds?

Do us all a favor. Bring back John Wayne, bring back Cary Grant, and Katherine Hepburn-- a moment of their screen presence is worth at least ten Ben Affleck movies.

Return Marvin Gaye and Barry White to us, so we can hear what a <i>true</i> soulful romance should sound like.

And we want back Milton Berle, and the Buddies (Hackett and Ebsen), so we can laugh again without feeling like we have crossed some strange moral or sexual boundary.

It's not fair, not fair at all, and if there was any justice, any sense of dignity left in you, Death...

please take Justin Timberlake. Isn't his time up yet?
