I'm so proud that my "Hey there" thread hase become one of the biggest Cluster Fuck/Abortion/Train Wreck threads I've ever seen.
Metal Rules. I'm not about to diss EVERY fan that thinks N'SYNC is great, but they are fucking faggots. So don't even try to diss Metal. It has a huge following worldwide, and a decent folowoing in the US. I'm not about to try to say it has a HUGE following because it doesn't. I'm not deluded. Not everyone will like it, but the usual fan is feircy loyal to it which makes up for NOT having fair weather/top 40/teenie bopper fans. There will never be the money or cmmercialism in Metal that there is in other forms of music and we understand that. But don't point to platinum records for proof your commercial music is better because it isn't. It's also obvious that Metal music is much more the musician's music instead of some pretty face singing award winning producer's songs. That may not mean anything to the general fan, but as someone trying to make it in a band, I respect the band that makes and performs their music more than a musician that takes a song someone made for them. Huge companies that have already decided what crap they're going to package and give to you, and through their media machine already know what will hit the top 10 on the charts. |
