FUCK YOU California Recall Election!
#11
You know, I hate to admit it but California's economy does impact our national one a lot. It has a HUGE economy. Also, policies created there are sometimes an indicatior as to the direction they will take nationally. That's why I care about it.

So the outcome of this election will be felt by us all. I'm just so sick of the circus. I think Arnold should get the fuck out of the race.

I just find it ironic that the Republicans are pushing to recall Davis due to inflations of budget defecits.

I think it's a little more than the deficit.

Remember Drivers liscences for people with no ID other than a proof of residnec I.E. a electric bill. No need of proof that the name on the bill matches your real name? He signed that.

Is it some sort of requirement that this phrase needs to appear in every thread? You guys use that a lot.

But it's still fresh!

Sure I'm aware of that. The very bill he vetoed in 2001, and only signed on Sept. 5, well after the recall effort was in motion, and after he was advised that such a bill would gain him support with minority voters who might be swayed to vote against the recall.

And of course, fourteen other states already had similar laws in place. Were the governors who signed those bills ever recalled?

It's a shitty bill, yes, but you're grasping at straws. He couldn't have been recalled for a law that was only signed after he was recalled.
