i recently put together an AOL group where i've been emailing complete shows to the members. to be a member, you DO NOT need to be an aol member. you DO need a screen name(aim).
here's how it works... nightly, i break up a show in to 8-12 parts making the files less than 5 mb's each. i then email these 8-12 parts to the group. for people who dont have a mailbox large enough to handle such attachments, i set up a public mailbox where all the emails will be stored.
the purpose of this....
because of VERY SLOW transfer speeds on my ftp, i figured by emailing i can upload only once and send to hundreds. I DO TAKE REQUESTS... so if there was a specific show you wanted, gimmee a date, and you'll have it in your email box the next day.
it is a private group, so to join, you need to let me know.... either email me or IM me on AIM with your email address and i'll email you an invite. please dont hesitate with any questions
