That's right, it's December, officially time to start planning. I know for my jammy scene, Gov't Mule, Soullive nad Disco Biscuits are all playing in the city. I'll prob end up at the Beacon with F N Moron.
What else is there to do for New Year's Eve?

Most likely staying down here in South Jersey going to my brothers annual new years party. Nothing special but lots of noise for this small town. Either that or sleeping.

Probably gonna be staying in the city @ my bf's apartment and probably trekking to Times Square. I'm not too keen on the idea b/c I don't like enormous crowds, especially where you won't be able to pee, or drink, or eat food.
So, that doesn't sound like fun to me.

DOn't go!!!!!! I had the WORST New Year's ever in '94 when I went to Times Square. Remind me to tell you the story of how my friend drank to much, passed out on a bench and got hypothermia, causing me to spend from 2- 9 a.m. sitting in the ER waiting room while tripping on acid and nearly chewing my lips off.
BIG buzz kill.

I've watched that times square thing year in and year out just wondering what the hell the point of standing in that huge crowd is. I hate being around people. Especially that many people unless im at a good concert. I get claustrophobic and start to hyperventilate.

Oh no.... that didn't sound fun.
He lives near times square too. And his friend from PA may be coming in for a while, and she's never been to Times Square. Ugh. Tourists.

i'm surprised you arent going to the show down in florida Suzie, what a terrible fan you are. I'll be spending NYE somewhat close to home, one of my buddies is having a huge blow-out at his place. I can't wait, it's my favorite night of the year.

So take the tourist to times square sometime when its not packed with thousands and thousands of people. Or turn on one of the many live tv shows that broadcast from there and point to it when they show the outside view before going to commercial.

It's not my friend, it's his.
I see no point in standing in that ridiculous crowd either. It's like something that lasts for 10 seconds and then you leave.
People should bring colostomy (sp) bags so they can piss.
