Anyone get the flu yet?

Getting the flu has always sucked, but this year it looks like it's something to be taken much more seriously.

Flu outbreak

If you do get it, do yourself a favor and don't dismiss it as "just another cold".

I got the shot 2 weeks ago. It's a nice feeling when your arm hurts for 2 days afterwards...

they say this every year.. the only reason they ran out was because of the kids.

i don't want the vaccine anyway because it makes you get sick to build up the antibodies for the flu.. so why do it?? if you get sick, go to the doctor's and stay home..

anyway, the government controls the weather and climate.. it's a big conspiracy..

I got sick, but not terribly sick from it. I did stay home from work 1 day....but I got better like 2 days after the "illness" hit me....

I haven't gotten the flu shot. I figure I could use a couple weeks bed rest at home.

My immune system of steel needs no help from the pesky flu shot. On top of that anything that could possibly give you an allergic reaction and render your body paralyzed is something that I'm going to stay away from considering it's been more or less a decade since I've gotten a flu shot. I am good for getting sick once a year in January of February. I let my body fight the illness because that is what it is scientifically manufactured to do. If it gets so bad that I can't go to work I take a sick day and I feel absolutely wonderful within a week.

Flu Shots? pfffft

Fuck that with the amount of times I've been in the hospital in the past 2 years I'm not afraid of everything medical related.

I believe I have the flu. I have all the symptoms except for a fever. I feel as if I'm going to die. Does anyone want any of my stuff?
