MESH_R-1
#1
Twice since Friday, when I've turned my computer on, after it boots up, I get a small screen that looks like an old DOS screen that has a blinking cursor moving randomly around it. I've gotten no virus warnings, my virus protection is up to date, and my virus scan shows clean.

After I close the box, everything appears to operate normally, but when I reboot, I get a print error message (when I haven't sent anything to print). I've just cancelled out the print job the two times it's occured, and things are fine.

The path on the document is:
C:\DOCUME-1\SUE\LOCALS-1\TEMP\MESH_R-1.EXE

I checked on Symantec to see if it's listed as a virus and I didn't see anything.

Any ideas?

are you sure it wasnt one of those pop ups that look like a DOS screen but they're really just fucking with you so you click on it?

btw, delete that document directly from the location in explorer.

I don't think it's a pop up because it happens on my desktop, not when I'm using IE. I went into Windows Explorer, but couldn't find the precise path, so I did a search for MESH and deleted the one temp file it came up with. I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

doesnt matter if you're using IE, pop ups can hide on your pc.

i would also suggest getting a copy of Spy Bot on download.com and running that.

I'll do that. Thanks. Now stop being so helpful...you'll start rumors.
