"Its the story of Scott. Scott's girlfriend dumps him the day he graduates highschool. His social life basically sucks. Scotty's online pen pal from Germany suggests they meet, thinking that its a guy, he initially freaks out. But then he discovers that she's amazingly gorgeous, and heads out with his three best friends after graduation to meet her. As they travel across Europe, they come across colorful characters and have hilarious misadventures."
This movie is produced my the same guys who did "Road Trip". It basically follows the same formula. Guy need girl....so he goes on far fetched trip to get girl. Its very funny and light-hearted. It highlights alot of the more popular places one would go to on a European vacation and playfully mocks the inhabitants of each area. From the English soccer fanatics to the weird French people to Hasslehoff singing in German.I think if you have ever been to Europe youd get the humor alot more and would probably identify with it more. The acting in it was refreshingly well done....considering I never heard of anyone in the movie except Michelle Trachtenberg of Buffy fame. I liked Scott Mechlowicz who was sorta young Brad Pitt-ish in his acting.
All in all the jokes are extremely funny. There are cameos by Vinnie Jones, Lucy Lawless and Matt Damon. The "Scott song" will be in your head long after you leave. The Hitler child will make you think of Gonzo. What more could you ask for ??
