Soriano to the Mets????
#1
Heard it on the radio this morning. The Mets are entertaining the thought of trading for Alfonso Soriano. Texas wants Reyes in return. I say...NO FUCKIN WAY!!! Timo and someone else, maybe. but not Reyes. I believe the Mets also said no to this idea...discuss
I'm not quite there yet

JBE, I'm with ya.

Let's keep some youth during our YOUTH MOVEMENT.

Fuck Soriano. Fuck him in his 28-year-old goat ass.

If anything, I'd trade Reyes for some amazing pitcher (not that I want to trade him but great pitchers are hard to find...ya feel me? And no, I couldn't name one great pitcher right now worthy of losing Reyes over)

Doesn't matter, Reyes.. Soriano... by April the Mets will be scheduling their tee-off times.

Dude, please, I'm still reeling from the effects of last season's futility.

A shitty Giants and Rangers season didn't help either.

Soriano is the kind of pop in the bat the Mets need...but a shame to lose Reyes...but unless Soriano will play outfield, Reyes must be linchpin of the deal. Mets may not have enough to do it any other way.

Well on the Mets, Soriano's post season ills won't be a problem so you they might as well stick him in the OF. He's also a great base stealer.

and it's not that Soriano is actually "garbage" it's just that I don't want to lose a great young player like Reyes for him...

Reyes has shown great potential, but why not take the proven product in Soriano?

Proven?

He only proved to be ineffective during last years playoffs. Fuck him, that fuckin' Stinkee.

and he may have some pop in his bat but he isn't what I would call "stellar" on the defensive side of things.
