Boy the way Glen Miller played,
songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!

On what basis do you make that statment?

I personally have been to all types of concerts. (Not just rap because I know one of you unfunny fucks would say it) and I must say he is one of the best performance artist out there. I went to a concert of his a few years ago and it rocked.

He was an innovative musician for the time but all hailings beyond that i just find to be over exagerated.

Never seen him live, so can't say anything about that.

Just because i think he's overrated doesn't mean i think he's a bad musician. I just think he gets too much steam.

As a guitar player he is highly underated, you should of saw him tear up the solo to "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" at this year's Hall of Fame Induction. And the fact he was chosen to play the solo on stage with Petty and the rest of the surviving Traveling Wilberys says alot.

The man is extremely talented, don't let the eccentricities fool you. And yes for her time, Sheena Easton was a hottie.
I'm not quite there yet

Actually, I used to like Bruce before he got old and odd. I've seen him several times, but the last show (probably in '89 or '90), we left before the end because it was boring.

Whether Prince is or is not a talented musician, etc. is not my point. I don't care for his music. I also am not a fan of the Doors, Jimi Hendrix and many other entities that most people love. Purely my opinion/matter of taste.
