I happened upon this story yesterday and when I saw the outcome today, I was totally sickened.

no, thats just poor parenting. you want to keep em in line without actually killing them. its a fine line a parent has to walk.

If she is insane and insanity is not a disease or a product of environment, but rather a physical malfunction, a genetic deviation if you will, then she has done society a favor by attempting to curb insanity in later generations.
