How long before he comes crawling back this time?
I believe he should be able to use the "Stone Cold" name for outside ventures, but the bottom line (no pun intended) is it was Vince that gave him this name so he and the WWE are fully entitled to benefit from that usage as well as Austin would be.
I usually think Vince is an asshole, but in this instance he is in the right.

His career has been going nowhere since he can't wrestle. Maybe some acting gigs or some other stuff. Or like Mick, come back when the money is right.

anything coming out of the wwe is a work.
from what i've read austin wants the right to use the name "stone cold steve austin" for other avenues and the wwe holds the rights.
same as wwe taking a cut from any movie which the rock uses that name in the advertising..
