Is there a new version of DeadAIM for 5.5?, obviously one that can be DLed off of KAZAA or somesuch.
I was having troubles running it once i updated my AIM so eventually i just ditched it but i knid of want it back now.

Check the deadaim homepage, they will probably have the new version (if there is one) there to buy. Then just do a search on Kazaa for whatever version number that was listed on the Deadaim page.

If it was tested against 5.5 why was my AIM constantly fucking up after having the DA installed for over 3 months?

I take it only a version which has been recently released was tested against the latest AIM. I hear that into-the-future compatability checking is one of the major problem that software engineers face.
