I suggest checking out minor league games. Some are short season and they only play 7 inning games.

Personally I like the sport when I'm actually at the ballpark, but you'll never catch me watching it on TV unless it's the playoffs. I get bored too easily.

What I really don't get is people who are so die-hard, they enjoy listening to sports on the radio. That would really put me to sleep within 15 minutes.

Football is good on the radio. Down here at least. And hockey gets on my radio during the playoffs when I am not near the television.

i prefer to watch or listen to the red sox while doing something else. I rarely do that if it's the only thing i'm doing.

There isn't a sport in the world that's good on the radio. I never understood how anyone could be enthralled. But the absolute worst, is the fact that they play racecar (PALINDROME!) driving and golf on the radio. Those are bad enough to watch.

Baseball is the only sport I follow. I can't stand any other sport with the exception of the ocassional hockey game. I love going to a game. It might not be the most fast-paced game but I enjoy it. Even being a bleacher creature is fun for me. If I had enough money to go for the entire season, I would.
As for other sports, I hate Basketball and would never pay money to watch it. The sound of the sneaker skweaking is the equivalent of nails on the chalkboard.
Same goes for Football. I watch it once a year and am happy to see it end in January. The superbowl is a celebration because its finally over.

Baseball is probably at the bottom of my "fun to watch" list. and as my old lacrosse coach would always tell us every season
"guys, baseball is gay"
I think I had a traumatizing experience playing tee ball as a kid which may explain
my hatred of the game.
