I just got finished watching this. It's where the best of Japanese chefs take on our best. Bobby Flay, Mario Battali, and Wolfgang Puck. If anyone has actually seen the original, the guy who runs it, Chairman Kaga, Holy shit what a friggin fag. He's like the Japanese Liberace of food. His nephew is the Chairman on this one. The whole idea of the show is to take an ingredient and make like 4 or 5 dishes in an hour. Then it's judged by a bunch of people like food critics and celebrities. It's actually cool to watch what they make.
Yeah I'm now domesticated...someone shoot me please....

The first attempt at Iron Chef America blew. This one was much better. Trout ice cream! blaaahhh

wolfgang? nothing says american chef like that pizza making german speaking bitch.... chef=yes... american=no. flay sucks, i know personally.. however, he is one of the best competition chefs the U.S. has.

I'm not too big on all those 'fancy' chefs or their cooking. Iron Chef however is a pretty good show. The american version was pretty good but not as good as the original. Something about dubbed over voices gets me all excited.
The best thing foodwise to come from the Food Network was Emeril's mac and cheese recipe. My wife makes a killer mac and cheese with that fucking recipe.
