I'd heard the name, but he was before my time basically.
Here's a clip from the 80s on Crossfire. He's just destroyed everyone on the show.
He was so calm and the other "moderate" was screaming at him. Zappa was calm, collected, and completely rational during the whole show.
I'd heard of the guy, but never really seen myself.
Good shit.
one of my teachers last semester was obsessed with zappa and somehow found a way to fit him into almost every class. and from that exposure, i dislike zappa's music even more than i used to
I've never heard one of his songs. I don't care to. I just mean his politics.
i never listened to his songs. i know he was running or planning to run for office when he got diagnozed with cancer. it's a shame, but we still have dweezil and ahmet.
talk about prescient! the facist theocracy he predicted is certainly alot farther towards fruition with this administration.
the video of japanese girls slapping each other is hot!!
i would bet the farm that until you saw that video that you didnt know shit about frank zappa.

I'm gonna get killed for this but, Frank Zappa. Yes the guy is brilliant and I actually think his views on music and politics are right on but I think his music is horrible. Again, a great mind and a talented musician but I just can't get into his stuff
he read that in the letters section of tiger beat
The only thing I know about Frank Zappa is that he made some horrible music but had an awesome name.
you should be hit with his rythm stick
His music was really bad, I remember my old boss would rave about how brilliant Zappa was and I listened once and that was more than enough for me.
