seriously. And it's had that on it's packaging since at least 1988. That's the year my deck was made. ( I had it wrapped up for years.)
So, it's been the king of card games in America for a while.
find me a movie where the characters are playing Old Maid, or Go Fish, or Asshole. You don't see cards show up in movies at all. Doesn't matter what the game is.
