the church removed all the jew references in the new testement in order to break away from the jews and establish their own power-base and identity. and millions of suckers think it's something other than just a jew-hybrid.

most catholics/christians i know know the big split is that christians think jesus is the the messiah while jews are still waiting for him to come.
while i don't doubt there are tons of people who don't realize that, where are all these people that you guys see? do they live with all the child molesting priests?

you are an educated fellow in a city-area with good schools. you sir, are a minority compared to the heartland and the devout overseas.
the major difference in Christianity , Judaism and the Muslim faith is that they all differ in who was or was not the prophet. I mean most Christan's don't know that Jesus is mentioned in the Koran.

The big difference is that in the koran version jesus wears a bow tie and eats a bean pie at the last supper.
