Is it true you do not shampoo your hair as often as whites and for what reason? Is it bad for black hair? Makes it too frizzy?
quickstop's friend hacked keyser's account!
its a legitimate question!!! i was just reading this somewhere!!
I probably shampoo my hair twice a week; maybe less. My head is shaved, and I have about 1/4" of hair. So there's no reason to 'poo it. My black folk also have no hair, and therefore there is very little reason to shampoo often.

That's my guess
I've heard that too - and based on some of the smells I've envcountered, I think it's true.
i shampoo just about every day out of habit, maybe its too much.
you coulda just PM'ed laz directly, he is our black community here.
When I had hair, I shampoo'd every day too. Makes your hair smell oily if you don't
But do you shampoo and conditioner or just shampoo, or maybe do you rinse and repeat the shampoo.. then maybe get a little saucy and conditioner after you rinse and repeat.
shampoo then condition. fin.
I use 2 different shampoos, one for cleaning and condition and the other for a nice fruity smell.
shampooing every day can strip your hair of essential oils and dry it out. plus the more often you wash the quicker it gets oily looking and you have to wash it again. i wash my hair once every 2 or 3 days, but if i'm not planning to be seen in public for a couple days i let it go longer.
Conditioner is for faggots

I was hoping for something more like "cause smokes only wash once a month"
only when they get hosed down in the joint
much better, I can smile again.
black peoples hair is different than white peoples hair in the way it grows.

for example it is nearly impossible for a negro to make his hair stick up straight like the gotti boys.
I shampoo every day and condition whenever.
