This board software does not allow the use of many of the html tags in your signature.

However, you may use BBCode to insert pictures and different color text into your signature.

Here are some examples of basic BBCodes:

To insert a picture into your signature:
Code:
[img]http://image_url[/img]

To insert a link into your signature:
Code:
[url=http://url]URL text[/url]

To change font colors:
Code:
[color=red]text[/color]
I installed an RSS feed.

Try it out, its at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://forums.colddayinhell.net/rss.php">http://forums.colddayinhell.net/rss.php</a><!-- m -->
don't forget the skin that makes this board look exactly like the other board.
I can't do that.......... yet.

That skin was developed for use with Ikonboard.

I don't have the experience with this skinning system to create my own skins yet. With time, I will port over a couple of the old skins, such as the blue and grey, the blue and white, and the original skin.
I dont think the rss is working. Normally with FF it will have an icon in the lower right (or URL bar with v1.5) if there is an rss feed available to be used with Live Bookmarks - and I don't see the icon. I tried to manually insert the feed url and I got (bookmark failed to load) which usually means its not getting the feed.
Keyser told me he couldn't get it to load either.

I will give it a look to see why when I get home later.
it works in firefox, you just have to add it manually.
bookmarks -> managebookmarks
in bookmark manager go to file -> new live bookmark
paste in the link to the feed

I dunno how to do so with BB but with HTML it's simple

<img src="http://www.websitename/image.jpg" height="value" width="value">

obviously replace the url with the image url and put in the values for the size you want

example

<img src="http://www.cdih.net/myavatar.jpg" height="150" width="200">

also make sure you turn on HTML by going to your profile and selecting "yes" for allow HTML.

when I tried that, it didnt work - but it does now. weird.
For those of you who surf at work...

I have added the option of turning off the signatures and avatars to your profile option page.

I am still trying to find a way to turn off the rest of the images, but this will help at least with some of it.
Thanks Gonzie.
Ok that was fun. Now put it back
