Jeff pieces the rumor together with a variety of quotes from journalists, radio hosts and Sox executives…

…i normally don't post this sort of stuff…but a) i am impressed with how this guy researched this, and b) it is semi-relevant to how motivated manny may be to get out of boston, which impacts the mets, to an extent…

what does cheating on his wife have to do with wanting to be traded? his wife will still be with him wherever, and the story will get out, obviously

i agree, he's travelling all over the country. how does leaving boston make him any less likely to cheat???

one of the reasons andy pettite left new york is because he had a mistress in the city, his wife found out and then demanded he leave new york for houston.

where the fuck is this intense research the guy was impresed by? all it sounds like is a bunch of reporters sharing the same rumor with each other, and since one guy mentioned it on tv, this dude decided it would be ok to start gossiping like a fucking woman.
