Mussina being the #3 starter will help my fantasy team because he will pitch against worst pitchers, and therefore get more wins. So that's why I care.

Then when the rotation comes around again, Wells has an extra day of rest, and so he starts, and then Mussina goes the next day. It will continue the to round and round, with Wells pitching the game before Mussina. Thus, Well is #2, Mussina #3.

yea but its not as technical as saying wells is their 2nd best pitcher so therefore he pitches second. thats what i meant. is trachsel really the mets 2nd best pitcher? from what i heard the rotation is this way because valentine didn't want astacio pitching in atlanta
