we lose an expiring contract and one of our few halfway decent big men, and get another fucking small forward
come on, the knicks needed another SF who shoots the ball alot, doesnt pass and has a horrible FG%... they dont have one of those.
if they can just get Jawon Howard, Chris Webber, and Ray King, they'll be 80% of the way there.
the fbi has been notified
you know, when isiah came to the knicks he gathered all contracts that would expre around now or next yr, at the end of the houston contract (except for marbury)
to me, that made sense
now hes getting contracts that i guess expire when marburys does
They got a first round pick for a guy that barely even plays.
What's so bad about that?
they got rid of an expiring contract for a bad player who will be paid about 35 million over the next two years
it's not your money; what do you care?
And just think of the big expiring contract you can over for the next 18 months.
see, thats what the thinking was with tim thomas. but then, when he gets to the year before it expires...traded. expect penny to be moved before the deadline, too. i think his is expiring
and i care because that puts the knicks even further above the cap, making it almost impossible to sign any decent free agents without a sign and trade
first round pick in a very very very deep draft is a really good thing.
but jalen rose is a very very bad thing
larry brown said he was "exactly what they needed" with his trademark larry brown enthusiasm
the fact that they got a draft pick out of this makes it a good trade. i don't really care about the cap situation anymore cause it's already a mess.
a low draft pick. it was a shitty deal. they would have been better off just letting him go and saving the money from rose for a real big man.
But now when with Quentin Richardson get any minutes ??
what the fuck language was that?
