Never thought I'd move back to LI, having couldn't wait to escape it when I was a college grad..but alas, at the end of May, I move to Freeport, Long Island. Having accumulated junk while living on my own and with my brother, I will have to go thru and basically throw-out a ton of stuff. My possessions may be reduced to Books, Computer, 3 rubbermaid bins of old papers, sketchbooks and art, and clothes.

Upon this planned move, I find myself beset with intense pressure and panic over getting everything done in-time. Plus, it will be the big move-in with my girlfriend, which makes even more so fraught with pressure than simply moving to a new place. It is an assimilation to the collective of adulthood, and the casting away of junk, crap, and whatnot.
you are fucked. good luck.
say hi to Spielberg for us.
good luck , bro
I'm going through the major upheaval of redefining life as I know it as well and it is very emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting. I forgot about all of the useless crap I collected over the years for sentimental and nostalgic value and even with the prospect of having to move it all between several car trips, I am reluctant to dispose of it.

Good luck.
the worst thing about moving is having to go through the miscellaneous boxes. the worst ones are the ones that have loose batteries and pens rolling around in the bottom of them.

the minute you throw them out, you need a battery or a pen.
thanks, all.

batteries, pen and loose change. If I collect enough change, perhaps I can get an Xbox 360.
another tip:

forget the x-box. play pocket pool. sure, its an oldie but its still a goody!
if you like pocket pool, how about an away game?
