The two biggest run producers are fucking down. The forner ace bleeds home runs and walks. This is the time that Rodiguez needs to be there. And he's not, and that's a shame, because everyone in front of him and everyone behind him is working hard to get on base and to get in. Damon isn't hitting, but he gets on base and moves over really fast. Jeter, seriously, gets involved in every rally in every game this season. He is the driving force of the Yankees this year, he leads every offensive effort. Giambi in the lineup is seriously just giving up another baserunner. This is the problem. Giambi can either clear the bases or get them loaded fat, and pitchers just aren't going to pitch him. Pitchers treat him like Pujols, except Giambi is much more patient, and selective. This is the reason Arod fucking sucks right now. This is the reason Shef does better in this spot, he'll just drill anything. Arod isn't doing jack shit. Ground out double plays, strike outs looking, wtf.
espn showed the stat that arod was batting like .115 in the first inning of games
so he doesn't hit in the first inning, and he doesn't hit at the end of games in big spots....good start to the season
I agreed with every word Jays typed. It also doesn;t help that the starting pitching sucks ass either, but that's no excuse for Arod's overall shitty numbers.
