Quote:Myspace encourages people to see each other, meet & be pals

social interaction in real life with real people!!! oh my god!!!

Quote:People who use myspace to make friends or to get laid would be better off unplugging & going out to bars & interacting with real people.

welcome to 2006, the same people who unplug and go out to bars and interact with real people interact with them online as well! crazy, right???

Quote:not everyone uses myspace for those reasons, but too many do. it's also a haven for sex offenders, unless the news media is making all of that up?

so basically you're basing your opinion of myspace on a dateline special, that sounds reasonable.
not just dateline, its been all over the media - papers, magazines. And yea, I'm the only one thinks this way

I can't wait to read the post about how you went to meet some Myspace girl who said she was 28 and turned out to be 15.
so is that whats holding you back? social interaction with real people and the fear that you might wind up on a dateline special?
Looks like the useless asshats in DC are getting into MySpace...

If I was a more well adjusted social person then maybe I would want to interact with people. But, seeing that I'm just an anti-social kook, BAH to that shit.
no, the fact that I'm 34 and that I have enough social interaction is holding me back. And if I didn't have enough social interaction my post counts would probably be triple what they are now (as awful as they already are).

I'm no pedo, but I wouldn't wanna be on a dateline special either - would anyone really?
i think its more the fact you are married with kids, but i suspect you wouldn't be knocking it if you were still a single guy in his twenties.

i think the pedo think has nothing to do with what normal people on myspace are doing, its how the media tries to make a story out of something and rubes like you run with it.
Real pedophiles use AOL chatrooms
Is Anthony Cumia on your friends list, Keyser?
no, but his girlfriend is.

nah, I doubt it. I've met people from here that I probably wouldnt have otherwise met - people I call friends - but I didnt join any sites with that specific intent, nor do I think I would if I were in my 20's (although I wouldn't mind being in my 20's, those were good times).
why not?
because I wouldn't want to sit on a computer to find people to meet, I'd go out & meet them, much like I did when I had a life.
you can do both, you know. not to mention, thats a very limited number of people you are able to meet.
Married with a kid, I don't think so.
we were talking about when he was single.
MySpace didn't exist then and it's doubtful Goat was ever single for too long. He's so handsome.
I'm slightly above average in looks, but I wouldn't say handsome.

Keyser, now that's handsome.

wait, how does Mad know what I look like?

YEAH AND ????

You make it sound like its a bad thing.
I've been gathering intelligence for quite a few years, you'd be surprised at what I know.

myspace is cost effective you don't have to pay for drinks and you can smoke there (even though you shouldn't in front of the computer).
