A-Rod looks really pretty striking out with the bases loaded while wearing his designer sunglasses
LOOKING, atleast go down swinging you fuck!!!
yanks leaving a lot of men on base today
jeter will save the day
more reasons why buck martinez is not a general manager or manager any more..."I wouldn't throw Damon a breaking ball in this at bat" 97mph fastball hit into the upper deck

go figure huh?
I though Chris Russo was gonna have a heart attack after guillen tied it up, he was so fuckin excited.
you still listen to FAN? That is soooooo passe
I love Mike, plus its the only talk station I can get at work.
canoe swinging at a 3-1 pitch off a pitcher who hadn't thrown a strike yet is stupid
who the hell is this kid for detroit throwing 103mph?? holy shit
dammit.
who goes deep in the 9th to win this game for the yanks???
noone Sad
and the answer is....no one
yes.
yes
At least A Rod is having an awesome series so far.
MVP Jeter.

1st inning - makes a crappy throw, almost kills Sheffield (who's worth more? Someone who doesn't play the field, or someone who does....poorly). Mussina's K saves Jeter.

1st inning - can't get a grade school bunt down. And it was stupid to bunt in that situation.

2nd inning - ends a potential rally with a groundout with men on 1st and second

4th inning - Makes another poor fielding decision, not trying to get Guillen at third. Monroe/Leyland's idiocy saves Jeter

4th inning - double, benefitting from from frazzled Verlander. Pokey Reese could have hit that pitch.
6th inning - crappy fielding #3 from Jeter, Sheffield saves an error

7th inning - Jeter made to look the fool against Zumaya. Striking out on an obvious ball.

9th inning - Jeter lucks out and doesn't have to make the game's last out. Damon saves him.
one game's performance vs an entire season?
he's streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetching at this point.

cause lets forget the 5-5 in game one.
