Testaverde Returns to Starting Lineup

QB Vinny Testaverde, the team's 1998 MVP and Pro Bowl QB, returned to the starting lineup after missing the final 15 games of the 1999 season with a ruptu...
All-time Roster Explore Jets History ....
I just saw this in the Jets site. It scared the hell out of me until I looked again and saw the date.
Would I be certifiable if I picked the Jets in my pool this week? I hate picking against them

I have always felt that Curtis Martin is an underrated running backk. Part of the problem is he has never been a "big play" running back. He has always been steady but very rarely did he break off an 80 yarder. The guys in front of him had that ability. That being said, Martin will always hold a place in my heart for helping me win about 2 grand in a fantasy league a few years back.
As for Elway, in the 80's he had to be the guy because the team around him sucked. For all the hype of the Three Amigos, they were just average recievers. Plus, Sammy Winder was also just average. So, he was forced in all of those Super Bowls to try to play like God. In the 2 Bowls he won, he had a much better cast around him so he could play within the system and not throw into double coverage trying to make the big play. I hated the guy with a passion, but he was a great QB.

they still lost to Cleveland.

I don't care; they beat that fucker Belechik! I hate him. Did you know that they have lost the most games in the League by 8 points or fewer.

i didn't. where do i find that in the standings? oh that's right, it's not there.. BECAUSE NO ONE CARES!

They only cared enough to show it on cbs sports yesterday. I CARE!!!! That's all that really matters.

CBS is for fagg0ts. and the AFC East can kiss my ass..
11-13-2006, 07:35 PM
Yeah, the AFC East sucks. So what? Would you rather talk about the Giants? bwhahahwa
11-13-2006, 07:44 PM
sure.. first place in the NFC East. better record than the Jets. considering they didn't have over 6 starters playing, they did alright.. maybe they'll do better against the Jags.. Plus, with the hardest schedule in the NFC, 6-3 is not too bad right now.

yeah, yeah, yeah. They looked okay. I think the Jets have a lot more to be hopeful about. Some of these rookies just need to develop more and we've got a team finally. Oh and how to keep Chad healthy....

a nigger by any other name....

I do not agree.
The Giants are massively wounded, the game essentially turned around on it's side when Petigout went out. Losing a left tackle is the worst thing that can happen to a team with a right handed drop back QB who is not a jackrabbit nigger. This is a bad sign for the Giants for 2006 but they have an enormously solid foundation & should remain competitive for years. The Jets are a house of cards and have been mediocre all year. I think you're putting quite a bit of stock in the muck game in New England, dear.

the jets finally have a coach who knows how to draft

Sounds like a wager may be called for, dear.

Sweetheart, you can't possibly believe the Jets have a better team than the Giants this year.
The Giants would be 7-2, minimum, with the Jets schedule. The Jets would have been underdogs in every game on the Giants schedule so far this year.

I'm not stupid but I think that in the Jets have more potential on their young roster. They also have a cake schedule after this week so I envision playoff in their future.
