The stock ipod earphones are horrible. Just atrocious.
I am one of those losers you see on the subway with the giant Bose earmuff headphones. However, I left them at work last night because we had our Xmas party, and I didn't feel like lugging them around all night.
So I went home musicless last night (which was bad enough), but this morning, I had to wear my regular iPod earbuds.
I hate them. I can't imagine I used them for so long. I couldn't even hear the music much of the time unless I cranked up the volume all the way, upon which time the music was all distorted and made my ears bleed.
The Bose headsets rule, I don't care how stupid they look. Because they do a bang-up job of blocking out all the ambient noise on the subway, I can listen to the music at a lower volume, which doesn't kill my ears. Plus, as an added bonus, they act as earmuffs when it's cold and windy.

generally all stock earphones/buds suck - I used to wear those large ones like you do but they got really clunky & annoying after a while. I love my Sony Fontopia buds, they go in the ear so they cut out 90% of the noise and have a nice, rich bass to them.

I need to get me new headphones, I still use the stock ones and they do indeed suck.

I wish more people were around to witness dennis and me laying down "G Thang" but the negroes in attendance who shouted their approval, more than made up for it.

*sparsley populated, i meant.
shit, the only better kudo's you could've gotten would be if B.I.G. himself showed up and squeezed a few rounds off into the ceiling.
