While yes, you can look at it like "if you are rich and powerful you can get away with anything". And for the most part, that is true. I would assume that many of these accusations that Keyser listed have merit.

But it is also fact that if you are rich, powerful, and in the public eye, people can sue you for anything in an attemp to fleece you of money, or gain fame. Especially in politics people can get sued, arrested, or accused of something that has no merit in an attempt to gain political power over that politician.

So just because all these people were accused of a bunch of shit, doesn't necessarily mean that they did any of it. People can accuse you of anything. How many times have you been accused of sexual assault when she so obviously was looking at you that way?

Politicians are guilty till proven innocent.

I have seen simularities in the medical profession, as well. Doctors can be sued big time and almost always the patient gains from any attempt to sue a physician. This is why medical malpractice insurance is so high. And people wonder why doctor's fees are so high.

In England doctors are free. They're all government employed. Lawsuits might be high but I'm sure it's not worth as much. Why can't we have that here?

I really don't know why we can't have that here. Could it be that maybe the government would lose precious funds and they make out better by collecting a doctor's taxes?

Health insurance companies wouldn't be needed any more and that gets rid of a bunch of headaches. Not to mention there is then no need to have Medicare because everyone can get a doctor because they're free.

Health insurance companies contribute to the government, tho. They are very big corporations.
