you're dead to me
I totally fucked that up. The alligator mouth is supposed to be pointing the other way. Come on, R-Dogs is one of the best movies of the last 10 years.
no doubt, I love Madsen and he is def one of my top favorites and I am pissed he doesnt get more roles.
but eastwood is the fuckin mack!
Agreed. I love Madsen but unless he does something better than Unforgiven, he'll always be second fiddle to Bill Munny.

you mean resevoir dogs, right?
I live R-Dogs but Madsen's character isn't as cool as Eastwood's role as Bill Munny.
Madsen had the luxury of being surrounded by the perfect cast, a great script, a great director in a fresh movie. Eastwood made a stand out character come alive in a movie we'd seen a hundred times before.
Again, I'm not knocking Madsen. He was great in that movie.
But we're talking Eastwood as Bill Munny. It's like Deniro in taxi driver or Pitt in Fight Club.
holy shit, how has nobody mentioned daniel day lewis in this thread yet? especially gonzo.
Has Daniel Day Lewis had a job in the last five years?
The "right now" part is what's throwing me off a lot of these names.
# There Will Be Blood (2007) (post-production) .... Plainview
# The Ballad of Jack and Rose (2005) .... Jack Slavin
# Gangs of New York (2002) .... Bill 'The Butcher' Cutting
well because he's done one movie in the last god knows how many years and ballad of jack and rose I will pretend never happened.
i forgot to mention gary oldman
he's kind of hacky, but i do enjoy seeing danny aiello in a movie, especially 23rd street.
