OK laugh at me... my first album was Menudo when Ricky Martin was still in it. My favorite was Charlie and my sister and cousins and I would choreograph little numbers to the songs.

The first album that I would say blew my mind was Dee Lyte. I was raised in the village and that album was the one that I would say brought me into the club/house scene.
groove is in the heart!!!!!!

right silera?

The video for that was fun.
yeah with bootsie collins making a cameo appearace!
First album I ever purchased on my own was Twisted Sister Stay Hungry. It was also the first CD I ever got and I still have the crappy, musty looking piece of shit actually.

The Album that changed the way and what i listen to was Testament: Practice What You Preach. Just a raw, furious album with alot of meaning for me.
I loved that album, Sean...Probably still have it...Testament was the shit back then.
i'm not sure which cd first blew my mind
it was either offspring 'smash' because they were the first band i was really into a lot, or red hot chili peppers 'one hot minute'
but more recently the thing that really hit me was cold's 13 ways to bleed on stage and their self titled first album. now i'm a huge ass cold fan
The first cassette I ever owned was a hand me down from a mother of a hippy. It was Paul McCartney - Ram, and it blew me away.

The tracks that stand out are Heart of the Country, Mockberry Moon Delight, and Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey. I still have it.

Ram...GREAT ALBUM!!!

?
Slash please you can't think on that level..

What massive genius probably meant was. Since you're known for being mistar filer away guy of all information. Who can pull out some obscure detail you posted like a year ago guy. That the fact you still have that tape is of no surprise since you file everything else away.

Great gift...cherish it. I have an album I purchased for my dad for Christmas when it first came out. Fleetwood Mac - Rumours 1977 (on vinyl).

I remember that My first cd was, Ugh, forgive me, Bon Jovi "slippery when wet". I was so proud that I had saved up the 12 bucks to buy It myself. For some reason, i thought that they we're heavy metal, and then I listened to It. Needless to say, i had the shiniest coaster on my block.
The first album to fuck my head up was Metallica's "Kill 'em all". After that, my lifes course was set. Because of that album, I now own 6 guitars, my 6th being bought just last week. It's like an addiction.
the first album i bought was Rough Mix by pete townshend and ronnie lane. still one of my favs. the first album i remember having was teddy bears picnic
The first RECORD I ever bought was the single, White Room...Cream is still one of the greatest ever...
