It's taken me many years to get to the point that I can admit that I am very much like my mother. We have a relationship in which we are either the best of friends or the worst of enemies, and lately we have been going through a worst of enemies phase. Apparently, in her eyes, I can't do anything right these days, and she points it out every opportunity she can. (The overly critical and extremely judgemental part of her is a part I thankfully haven't developed.) The ways that I'm different from her, I'm everything she can't stand, but tolerates, about my father, who, by the way, is the best!
I never knew my father but then again I am unlike anything my mother was. I do have my grandmothers intelligence though, my cousin and I have similar sense of humours just not the same types. My family is rather small so I don't have much to go on.

That's why I call sluggo "daddy"

Sounds to me that your dad was a tad clairvoyant and got out while he could.:firebounce:
Hey wouldn't every dad be proud of their child molestor son?
I got a great set of ethics and morals from my parents. Everything else is pure me. Nobody to blame but myself. :LMAO:

I'm much more adventurous than anyone else in my family. Noone else would go rock climbing, white water rafting, or any of the other stuff I've done. I'm also more confident and independant.
Im nothing like any of my family. not many guys can actually lift their father over their head and toss him around like a rag doll.
Not that I do that.

Snuka, are you admitting to having that special "retard" strength we were all sure you possessed?
IM NOT TELLING {:p}
Do your feet and hands look exactly alike? :roflmao:
Yes they do...and my head is oblong....the whites of my eyes are actually yellow..three of my front teeth actually come to points...and there is always a string of drool falling from my lower lip. i have really big hearing aids...coke bottle glasses and i work at wall mart trying to clean up dried nail polish off the floor with boxes of tissues.
damn, that was you? Sorry I didn't say Hi but I didn't want the kids playing with the monkey....especially one with a raging hard on...seemed a bit odd to me. That and the devious smile everytime an infant would go by....but hey, I guess WalMart is an equal opportunity employer....good for them :thumbs-up:
nobody wants to share their kids. it's just not fair. im just going to have to make my own.
I am very much like my father and my dad rocked. I would be honored if I can be like him in every way. I'm not much like my mother. She is very nieve and prudish, but I love her all the same.

And don't worry Kid. You still have time to become a fuck-up and make your father proud. Was he a fuck-up at your age, or did he accomplish that later in life?

But if given the opportunity now, I think some of us would give it the old college try (ahem)

In a million years, I could never reach the level of fuckedupitude that my father has. My problem is, I learn from my mistakes, and I learn from others. My father doesn't learn from his mistakes, and seems to try to outdo others in the mistakes they've made. Besides, my aversion to stupidity keeps me out of jail. This is a concept that eludes my father.
I am a lot like my dad,. nothing like my mom. i never talk or see my mom but i see my dad every chance we get. he works overseas in europe so i dont see him that much but we e mail every day and i do see him a few times a year. he is very responsible and he took me in whne my mom threw me out.
Kid's dad has been to jail? Wow I never saw that coming.
I see more of my step-father in me then I do my real dad. I have fought kicking and screaming my whole life not to be like my father the drug addict, alki, wife beater, controling, cock sucking mother fucker that he is.At the same time I also fight with my self not to turn into my step father either. Vietnam vet, retired Jersey City cop, who loved to come home after a night on the job, and beat the piss out of me, while my mom stood by and watched. Actully I fucking hate them both, and will dance the Irish jig the day the fuckers die. I have my mothers temper wich is not a good a thing, I have my fathers distrust of people and addictive personality, wich I hate, and I have my step fathers, closed minded attitude. I guess all in all, I am like them all in away, but for the love of god, if I ever become more like them, I will fuckin kill myself .
SHRINK YOUR SIG!!!!

fu slash
there's a new sheriff in town and his names reggie hammond.
I'm like my father in that he used to bottle everything up inside until he couldn't take it anymore. I can blame my first ulcer on that fine trait of his. He was a big man (6'2" 325) before he really got sick...but always had a joke to tell and more than willing to help a friend when needed. I'd like to think I take after him in that way...sometimes its not so bad being remembered as the really nice quiet guy next door who always like to help.

I only hope that I can exhibit the strength and courage that he did near the end. I think I learned more from him in the last six months than in the last 15 years!
