I'm a lifeguard and there's no way I can't not burn at least once in the summer so I just get it overwith first day of the season I don't wear sun screen. I burn, I aloe, and for the rest of the summer I tan. I end up as dark as Kid by the end of the summer.:firebounce: :firebounce: :firebounce:
It seems weird, but use distilled white vinegar. I never thought it would work but I've gotten bad burns, just got over one and it really works. Put it on a washcloth or towel and hold it on the sunburn. It draws the heat out, so you may have to use more than one towel cause you'll feel them get hot. Aloe is good as long as its aloe alone and no lotion. The lotion holds the heat in, which makes you use more because of the lotion's cooling effect to your skin.
Or just ride it out and wait to peel like a mother fucker
If it's a really bad burn, solarcaine works pretty well to kill the pain. Once it stops hurting, cocoa butter will stop you from peeling, plus you get to smell like a yummy summer drink
WUSSES....just put on some amplifier and sit back out in the sun. eventually your skin will just turn to ash and fall off..problem solved.

another question.....do people actually look better tan?

Yes, Solarcaine!! I picked up that in a green aloe lotion and it did work very well.

As for the next question
Some people look fake as shit with tans, but if its a nice real summer tan I think it looks good. Besides, it supposed to make you look 10 lbs thinner, I dont know how true that is, but maybe its like a -if you wear black you look thinner -kinda thing.

You want to be black dont you snuka? I know its your secret wish to not be a cracker.

Yeah but what would happen to my white trash image nette. it is such a good image.

i dont ever plan on tanning but im always outside in the summer and just get dark. i very rarely burn.

dammit...i have to try a different plan and get some different colors in my wardrobe.
Yea jimmy, lavendar and mustard colors are SO last season. hehe. {Big Grin}

It's not a bad burn just bothersome. I'll try the vinegar, but if my skin turns green I'll be coming to look for yah. .
Yea, I've had to endur the vinegar treatment,..I was doubtful at first,..but it did a wonderful job of taking that annoying stinging feeling away. I think it makes you less red too.
I have heard of skin turning green,..I think it was snuka, happens when he uses his love juice to cure his sunburn.:bouncer:
Tans look good if they're natural. People who walk around in December and are 3 shades lighter than K1d look fake. I also like how when you're tan if you wear a bright color it's almost blinding.

and everyone is going to believe a girl who played "squash the mellon" that this has happened to me.

oh fuck....who am i kidding....IM DOOMED :disappointed:

I think tans look great..although if you see a woman in the 40's who has done a lot of tanning, its not a pretty sight
Yeah, look what happened to this poor broad after being out in the sun too long

I got burned twice this weekend. First at the Mets game on Saturday and again playing golf on Sunday. I gotta try that green aloe stuff you guys are talking about, i'm hurtin over here!
The only problem with any of that shit is that it never lasts long enough. Feels really great for maybe an hour or so then you can feel the skin sizzling like bacon again.
i know this sounds crazy but it works. a really hot shower and some vinegar. the shower hurts like hell but it takes the sting out and the vinegar helps too. you smell like hell but it works for me.
the only thing that i have ever found to actually soothe the skin after its been burned is ice and cold water...lots of it! i have been burned many a times, and have had sun poisoning twice...and nothing feels better then an ice cube on burned skin...damn this pale skin! oh and you should also drink a lot of water cause once the skin is burned one tends to get dehydrated.
i hear its very common to confuse sun poisoning with leprosy.

and how come i always pictured you being very pale VG?
