I've been trying to configure my VPN and was told by my sysadmin that I need to change my workgroup to the same as the server. Now that I've done that, my domain login is screwed and I can't get into my computer. It seems to be checking the password against a non-existent server.

Who's got a back door for me?

There may be a prize for the first person to get me into the machine...
You need to log onto the VPN not your local login for your PC.
I know that. But, I was able to connect to the VPN, I just couldn't open anything once I was there. Anyhoo, that's not the issue now...

I CAN'T GET INTO MY MACHINE!!!

When I log on, it says to check my password. But, my password hasn't changed. This leads me to believe that the domain change I've made was wrong, and something is not being verified correctly. At any rate, I need to get into the computer to change the settings.
Ok, I got back in with an old password from the previous user. But, I would still like to know a back way in, if anyone has one.
Upon bootup, hit f8 just after the bios post screen. Go to safe mode. Microsofts way of hacking into their own machines.
