Bringing back Hogan was one thing but a few weeks ago Vince re-hired former head writer Vince Russo.

First off I am surprised Hogan hasn't quit cause of this yet.

Russo ditched WWF several years ago to jump to WCW. His story lines were pretty much the nail in the coffin, coupled with his need to be on TV every week.

Russo publically embarassed Hogan in a shoot interview during one of WCW's final PPV's. When he guaranteed "you'll never see that piece of shit on TV again."

Russo was put in with the creative team headed by Stephanie Mcmahon. Didn't take long for the old days to resurface. Russo was demoted in less than 48 hours. He's not even allowed in on the meetings anymore and has threatened to quit already cause he thought he'd have "control". His ideas are supposibly horrendous, (given the direction of wwe lately i'm scared to imagine how bad they are.)

It's also rumored that Stephanie and her b/f HHH played a key role in getting russo demoted.
One wonders how much Vince is panicked to eat the past and let him back...unless it was to demote him anyway. Could it be an ego thing for Vince to pick up Russo's broken career and put him back into the company, then knock him down a few notches too boot??

A la Steinbrener signing Canseco a couple year back.
Yeah, you have to wonder what McMahon's thinking bringing back Russo at a time like this.

It's not like he'll listen to his ideas anyway, so why bother?
I read someplace on the internet that Russo may have been rehired to keep him from writing a "tell all" book about his time with wwf...thats just a rumor i read though...
from what i understand, he gives ideas to both groups, but that they don't have to be used...
