Maymay doesn't love me, he never calls no more:angry:

Time to get the Skipper hat out from under the bed

Stabbing does not meet the "cutting" definition. That would qualify as misuse and not fall under the implied warranty of merchantability.
Sorry, you're out of luck
Good to know, I'll be sure to "cut" then, thanks
Wouldn't slice and dice be more satisfying?
Let's pretend I'm actually ten years old, and I frequent this board as I do. So one day mommy pops in and catches me jerking off to Snuka's highly offensive yet erotic sig pic or other such visual treats this board has to offer. Can my parents sue the board owner for corrupting their little boy?
there is a warning on the front page

What kind of adult verification system does it employ? Are such things (warnings, avs, etc.) necessary legally?
we have closed membership, the only person who might get us in any trouble is AM. Plus, I really can't say I give a shit. Actually, i wonder if I do have to use some cheap Verisign knock off. Bah, fuck that. Ladi is right though, our asses are covered by the warning, I may have to update that front page one day.
As long as content is not "illegal" and any adult content is not intentionally marketed or pushed to those who can't legally view it, you're OK. As a safety measure, most companies put in some bullshit adult verification system, but it's just legal "chicken soup" (which means that it probably won't help you, but it certainly won't hurt). If anyone tries to sue, they can just say, "not only did we meet the law, but we exceeded it by trying to prevent people from viewing it"
But any warning, terms and conditions, disclosure statement, etc. are completely useless, and do not protect you from anything unless the user is unable to view the site until they confirm that they have read and agree to everything that's been stipulated. If you make it that way, it pretty much makes you bulletproof in regards to any offensive content as long as it's not illegal content.
If I remember correctly, this site (unlike pretty much everything else on the Internet) is set up that way.
on espn.com they have that insider thing. i'm sure you're aware of what it is. anyway, i just wanted to see how much they charge for that, but they don't tell you the price until you sign up for the 30 day trial and get all your information. can they do that?
if i eat white castle for lunch today am i going to be shitting my brains out later?
