Everybody knows it was doomed from when they let go Romero.

HEY! When did I get kicked out of "everybody"?
well, i thought it would suck from the get go. Video Games just can't be made into a good movie it seems. Plus. the horror genere is pretty much as active as Ikea's sex life.
Wormface Wrote:whos directing it now?
i think it was the guy who directed Mortal Kombat Annhiliation. Paul Anderson. I mean come on, it's a zombie movie, why get rid of Romero? He's the Zombie KING! I read an interview that he couldn't get the budget (which was less than $5 million) for a fourth Dead feature.
I dunno man.. Day of the dead was horrid compared to the other two..

still, he made some o the premiere horror films of all time, i have no problem giving him the money to make a movie.

I agree. The characters just weren't beleivable.
The real injustice though, is that the studios are funding a REMAKE of Dawn of the Dead (a film that will probably MASSACRE the story) while Romero can't get the funding to do Twilight of the Dead. (Twilight would be about the last stronghold of humanity, a small, self-contained city surrounded by zombies and the survivors efforts to take back the world.)
As for this movie, I don't expect anything. I've been following the story on AICN and it aint good.
the Dawn of the Dead remake which I read about is going to be all CGI gore. ALL CGI GORE!! Do you realize the awfulness of that?
And that's the point I was trying to make Dent. Yes, Day wasn't good but Romero is a LEGEND!! He doesn't want a lot of money and if it sucks or not I'd prefer giving him the money to try to finish his groundbreaking series than giving Michael Bay money or the Dawn of the Dead guy the money to make that sequel.
