Nothing's natural form is bound to itself. It's one atom. That's the natural form. Don't hurt your brain. Go look at a bug zapper.<font color=white>

I think a fist fight would resolve this pretty quickly.
Me kicking your ass won't make you any less ignorant.
see I wiped my ass with sanguine....
it's a nifty "vocabulary type" word....
implying that I had a roll....
it was pretty funny.

Can someone please explain to me how I can convert O2 into just (O) and
also convert it to O4 & O5. O3 is easy, but the other derivitives I am not clear on. Also, I would like to know if the oxygen that is used for welding purposes is just (O) or O2?

Normal, stable oxygen (including that for welding) is almost pure O2.
To my knowledge, O3 is the only other form stable enough to produce
in macroscopic concentrations (e.g., ~2% is used industrially for
bleaching and disinfecting). One can obviously disassociate O2
in a laboratory -- in an arc, say -- but it will reform O2 under "normal"
(earth-like) conditions of temperature and pressure.
Personally, I've
never heard of O4 and O5, but there are all sorts of bizarre molecules
that are transiently produced under some conditions, so I won't try
to claim that they don't exist. - Roy
It's normal to THIS FUCKING PLANET'S ATMOSPHERE.

So it's your contention that Oxygen atoms are only stable if they are bound to each other?

Please ask Mr. Google how then a pair of Hydrogen and a SINGLE Oxygen seem to do so well?

Wher do you expect to make water? on Mars?
You can pee in a mister coffee and make water, duh didn't you see waterworld?

They are stable when they are bound to each other and no other molecule. A single molecule is stable, however, when it is connected to 2 Hydrogen molecules. But as said before, it is not possible to break up 2 oxygen molecules to merge one of them with 2 Hydrogen molecules. So, water cannot be made chemically.
So we can split atoms, but not separate them?
Sleeper must have the biggest grin on his face and is patting himself on the back, while a raging hard is throbbing in his shorts.
Should I have included the [sarcasm] tags or [leading question] tags?
ok, let me rephrase that, it's not possible under Earth-like conditions to split them apart as they will reform. You can do it under other conditions, but maybe Hydrogen doesn't react properly under those conditions. Who the fuck knows?

I actually hate Chemistry, I'm just bored.

This from the kid bothered by a novelty toilet paper prodcut he heard about on a girly TV sitcom.
I loathe it too.

But if memory serves me from 10 years ago when I took the class and this has nothing to do with me not posting for a bit, becuase I didn't actually get all this info just now doing research or anything....But oxygen atoms are split naturally by ultraviolet lights or someshit that has something to do with the Ozone. I don't quite remmeber exactly because Allyson Foley was in my class, and she was hot so I didn't pay much attention.

If it can be done naturally, I'd assume it can be done sythetically.

But that's enough of that, Let's finish our wacky sendup article on the All-Star game so we can post it before the end of the week. I still don't like how that third paragraph reads.

Yea, I don't think calling Torii Hunter, "one high-flying darkie" will fly with the masses.
Use all the science you want to destract us but it doesn't hide the fact that you watch and think about FRIENDS
I knew I would get flack for that, it's just something I'll have to deal with. Oh, and Friends was better than NewsRadio, there I said it!

Go to hell! NEwsRadio was better written, funnier, smarter, had a better ensemble, better characters, it was better on ALL LEVELS!!!

Can you honestly say that any of the female characters were as funny as Lisa or that any of the males had half the talent of Jimmy James, Dave or Bill McNeal- one of THE best sitcom characters ever?
