A lot of you seem to laugh at your own jokes on this board. Do you do this in real life too? Do you do it to drown out the oncoming silence?

Oncoming silence.
I laugh at my own jokes all the time.
I don't give a shit if others find me funny. I am funny to myself. I get the joke.

The same way you care about what you have for lunch.

Some people like clam juice. That doesn't make it good
Well, I think today was the first day I've ever used the little rolly laughing thing, so I'd have to say nope.
At most, I will post script an obvious attempt at bad humor with a rimshot.
I just avoid teh funny altogether.
When I make an intentionally bad joke, I like to use capital letters. like OMG DOC YOU MUST ADD A RIMSOT TO EVERY ONE OF YOUR POSTS THEN!!@!
I can only tell jokes that other people have already done. I can't come up with anything new: look at the Johnny Cage line of humor. Therefore, I never laugh at my own jokes. If I do laugh when I am saying something funny, I am laughing at someone else's joke.

Is that why you laugh at Ken all the time? (No emotioncon needed)

TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN!!!11!
Wow, you're right, it works :thumbs-up:
Yes, because Ken looks like Ali McGraw and Love Story was the funniest movie I have ever saw. I loved it when the crowd in the theatre started chanting "DIE, BITCH! DIE!!".
