I was made fun of a lot for being an obsessive black guy with a three-feet-in-diameter afro who sat in front of the computer all day yelling at a bunch of dorky white guys on a message board, posting "deep thoughts" about how no one can come up with a good thread anymore.
That's the last time I dress up as K1d-- any Kid for that matter.
HAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAH

Touche`.
I only just saw this post after I posted a thread that proves just how true this statement is. I suck.
(and it's summer time, no more afro ;-) )
My Schwinn Banana Peel bike, then my Fuji ten speed
I remember moving up from my Royce-Union banana seat with coaster brakes to a (yes) Spitfire 10 Speed, and thinking I was just the king of the world! I loved the ten-speed, once I learned to work the gears and got used to the hand brakes. My range went from a matter of blocks to just about anywhere I wanted to go....
I live in the sticks, so we had no where to go. My sister & I used to ride our bikes around in a circle in the driveway (rocks), or on the grass. If we wanted to roller skate or bike on a smooth surface, we had to drive down the road to the school parking lot.
Some girl I knew had one of those little motorized bike/car things. I one day rode it all day & wore out the battery. It was hers, but I don't think she got a turn.
