....you have to fly on September 11th.

Would you take them? Where would you go?

I'm thinking of flying to Hawaii that day, Australia if they let me.
i want to go to alaska...i saw that commercial on TV before, yet i dont think i have big enough balls to fly that day. maybe ill walk to alaska.....
:fuggin:
The site is getting pounded.
Security is going to be so tight that day, I would fly. Too bad I can't afford a vacation right now. Never did get over to Ireland or Germany while I was in Europe.
i don't see what problem is flying that day. i'd feel safer flying than being in NYC.
tru gooch, yet id b the lucky person to have my plane fly into some building in chicago...i have the worst luck in history
I dunno if I have the balls to do it either. But...there's quite a few places I'd like to go.
I saw that on the news this morning, reassure me that I'll be safe all you want, but my ass is NOT getting on a plane that day.
if they brought back smoking on airplanes...then id definately go...smoke a whole pack from jersey to PA, but id go... :fuggin:
I think I will be flying that day. From Vegas to LA. But, it's free anyway because my company is paying for it.

I don't see what the problem is with flying on 09/11. Think of the probability of it happening again, let alone the probability of being on a flight that is used to take out another building.

I'd be much more worried about someone with a stinger missile (shoulder launched) standing in a field somewhere shooting down planes.

9/11 worked because people believed, and crews were trained, that terrorists will take you to some airport in Cuba or the Caribbean, park on a runway, and make demands. Maybe one or two people get shot before the situation is delt with compared to the entire plane falling out of the sky. Now, NOONE is going to sit back and hope for the best. Guys jumped out of their seats with knives, and everyone on that plane is going to give them a beat down.
I would do the free flights, if I didn't have to return on the same day. I really don't think anything is going to happen on that particular day....
I'm going if i can get the tickets, i can't seem to get through though.

lets not be to stereotypical now...

oh and as i think about it...i dont think ill even drive that day...
:toast:
The probability of something happening is low, but why take unnecessary chances? I had no reason to travel 9/11 before it was free, so why tempt fate just for a free ride? Honestly, I don't even know if I'm going to work or school anymore now that I know just how long the ceremony is going to last.....
if you don't live your life as you normally would, the terrorists win.

Must resist urge to kill.
tru...but i dont frequently fly anyways, so id say i am living a normal life..
its just the airplane being used as a weapon that gets to most people.
A co-worker of mine might actually be getting 2 tickets to Domican Republic just because the fare is gonna be dirt cheap.
Hey, it's not dangerous to fly on 9/11... It's dangerous to fly SPIRIT!
