Well, I'm 32, and facing a crossroads in my career path. I know that what I am doing is what I planned on since High School, with only a few minor modifications. I've climbed the ladder at work pretty quickly, and now I have to figure out if I'm ready to give up the fun stuff for a bigger paycheck and more responsiblility. I also have to decide if I can tolerate the problems where I am now, or move on to another similar job in a bigger agency. Starting over, in a sense, would be interesting, but will I be happy? Can I take being the "new guy" yet again?

i never really set any goals because i never decided what i wanna be when i grow up. i still haven't decided, but i'm starting to get some ideas now. i'd like one day to run my own bar/restaurant. i'm also thinking about going back to school, although until i get all my credit card debt (about 15k) paid off i don't even wanna think about student loans. well, at least i'm working, for now...
and my personal life is pretty much where i always figured it would end up, in the shitter

I had plans. I'm really nowhere near where I had planned to be eight years ago. Never even considered the career I'm currently in.
But, I took the opportunities as they came, and things have pretty much worked out for the best. Some things that got delayed are finally coming about. In general I'm satisfied, but there's always something I could improve. Like finding that special someone.

Well, I am not really where i wanted to be, but i am happy for the most part. I am 27 years old, and went to college at Johnson and Wales University for cooking. I got tired of cooking, so now i do lanline technical repair for a Verizon and Bellsouth reseller, which gets me traveling quite a bit, which I love.. I am in the proces of being credit card debt free, and i just moved into a nice four bedroom house,. renting for now with an option to mortgage it next year. so even though i started out to be a chef, i am quite happy where i am now
