Where do you guys go for wav sound files?
wav files provide original quality but file sizes are usually too big (unless you are talking about short clips such as sound fx). i know for my Nirvana bootleg ftp, I only allow disc images or shn/mkw files. shn is a lossless compression that allows 40+ MB wav files to be shrunk down to around 10 MB or so. you can find out more about shn/mkw

Gonzo, I think snuff film soundtracks probably don't come with associated .wav files.

I don't know what to do with a .shn. I just received a bunch of shows in .shn format. Can I burn them normally or do I have to transfer them back into .wav or .mp3?

for those wondering how to get those wonderful .shn files to play on your cd player... go to the etree.org link i posted above (too lazy to scroll up and copy/paste it here) and download that program. then open program and drag the .shn files u want to convert to .wav into the 'drag here' box... BAM, all set.
