Tropical Storm Edouard, seen in this enhanced satellite image, strengthened as it sat off Florida's Atlantic coast on September 3, 2002 and forecasters said it could lash the north-central part of the state with rain and gusting winds in a day or two.

with a name like Edouard you would have to assume that tropical storm is trying to smuggle coke in from cuba.

Keyser, you'd think.. wouldn't you? :lol: I guess I shouldn't really complain.. we've been lucky this year so far. I think they predicted 7 severe storms for us this season.

Of all the schools in Florida, I support FSU the most. My students go to colleges all over the U.S., but FSU is a sweet spot for me.

At least you can see the storms coming.... Unlike our ever present earthquakes that pop up all the time without warning...

Kindred, I absolutely agree with you. You've got to have courage to live where earthquakes strike. With hurricanes, the weather peeps give us a lot of warning. They start tracking the suckers when they're on the other side of the world.
