Why do people insist on using yahoo? It doesn't work for most people.

A. It's the only section I can access from work. Actually blocked the "photo" directory", but not the "file" directory.
B. I thought setting the group to allow anyone to view all files allowed EVERYONE to view ALL files.
C. Guess I better tell Sloats since he's using that directory for his sig too.
D. There is an issue with cookies, just might not be this one.

Join the yahoo group and you can see it. (The one linked under my sig). if your really nice, you'll copy it over to the photo directory and post it. But, then we already know how lazy you are.

call me kooky, i should just be able to see pics posted without a set of instructions on how to view em.

You should join the no pics dispalyed group. Then pics are of no interest to you ever, and you can't participate in most threads while at work.

why does everybody who starts a yahoo group have no idea how to set them up? change your membership to open, and files setting to let everybody view them, and most people will stop bitching

and kid, we use it because its free. most other free sites go down constantly, or you hit bandwith limits. all yahoo does is limit the space on the group

You can give me all of the explanations in the world of how to make it work, but I'm with keyser on this one. I should be able to see the pic in the thread without having to join a group or accept a cookie. Why don't you people all chip in and get a server? Or, do like I did, create a site for someone, let them pay for everything, and then leech server space from them. :-D
