You stepped out of line, and now you are trying to make yourself a martyr. But, you haven't a leg on which to stand.

So, you've basically put the site's business in the open for everyone to see at the expense of those who run the site. Then, when they call you on it, you say it was a joke? Of course it was a joke, but that doesn't make it any less wrong. Besides, the meaning behind that joke was not laughter. You want credit, you've got it. Credit for contributing to the life of this site. But, you take with that the credit for being the biggest Asshole ever known to the abyss that makes up internet message board.
